In a combined 26 runs and 27 hits, the bats were alive for the boys from Mapletown and Clairton but when the dust settled it was the Maples walking around with a 16-10 victory in non-section action.

Colby Kinsell picked up the victory with four strikeouts and walked a single batter.

The Maples also got a nice day from Kevin Ridgely, who had a double, and Taylor Kennison who had a triple in the win.
