Indiana girls handle Southmoreland, 55-26

The Indiana defense held Southmoreland to single digits in each quarter Thursday night, defeating the Lady Scots, 55-26, in the Section 3-AAA opener.

Olivia Porter led Southmoreland (0-1, 1-2) with 13 points.

Kaitlyn Hoff was the top scorer for Indiana (1-0, 3-1) with a game-high 21 points. Lucy Bujdos added 10.
