Lady Jaguars down Connellsville, 49-36
The Thomas Jefferson girls led by six after the first quarter, and maintained the advantage for the remainder of the game Friday afternoon for a 49-36 win over Connellsville in the Laurel Highlands Christmas Tournament.
The Lady Jaguars led 12-6, 22-14 and 34-21 at the quarter breaks.
Ashton Grimm led the Lady Falcons (2-6) with 11 points. Maria Merendino added 10.
Alexis Yanief was the lone player in double figures for Thomas Jefferson (5-3) with a game-high 20 points.
