Cal baseball, Carmichaels softball rained out

Rainy weather forced postponement of both PIAA quarterfinal games involving teams from the area.

Both California baseball and Carmichaels softball are scheduled to play Friday.

The Lady Mikes get the same time and same location, as they will take on Southern Huntingdon at 3 p.m. Friday at Everett High School.

The Trojans get an earlier wake-up call and a different location when they face Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at noon Friday at Fox Chapel High School. The game had originally been slated for 4 p.m. Thursday at Upper St. Clair.
