Mustangs earn first win of season
Laurel Highlands earned its first win of the the season, Tuesday, defeating visiting Latrobe, 3-1, in Section 1-AAA play.
The Mustangs won the first match 27-25, dropped the second match 22-25, but won the last two, 25-22 and 25-23.
Kristina Hudock had 19 kills and 9 digs for Laurel Highlands, teammates Hannah Basinger and Allison Hatsek each had 10 kills.
Haley Moreland led assists for the Mustangs, with 31. Crista Swenglish had 16 digs.
Laurel Highlands is now 1-9 in section, 1-11 overall.
