Penn State Fayette sweeps four matches

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus’ volleyball team swept four matches this weekend.

The Lady Lions earned a 3-0 sweep over Penn State Wilkes-Barre with set scores of 25-3, 25-6 and 25-5.

Penn State Fayette defeated Penn State Scranton, 25-7, 25-9 and 25-7 in the second match. Janelle Cooper paced the Lady Lions with six kills and four digs.

Penn College picked up a set with a 25-19 win in the second set, but Fayette won 25-9, 25-11 and 25-19 in the remaining sets for the victory.

Penn State Hazelton was no match for the Lady Lions with Penn State Fayette winning, 3-0, by scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-15. Emily Konter had 41 assists.

Penn State Fayette improves to 15-0 in PSUAC action and 19-9 overall.
