Connellsville defeats Hempfield, 2-1

Connellsville defeated visiting Hempfield, 2-1, on Wednesday in Section 1-AAA play.

Anna DeMarco and Ashton Grimm scored goals for Connellsville, with assists from Angie Bloom and DeMarco.

Chelsea Burkhart scored Hempfield’s goal.

Samantha Orie made 10 saves for Hempfield, while Allie Ramsey made 8 saves for Connellsville (1-6, 5-6).
