Thomas More runs away from Waynesburg

Thomas More scored 28 unanswered points to erase an early 7-0 deficit in a 49-28 win over Waynesburg at Crestview, Ky., Saturday.

The loss was the first for the Yellow Jackets (3-1), while the Saints stayed perfect at 3-0.

Carter Hill threw three touchdown passes for Waynesburg, including a 16-yard toss to Josh Tolliver to open the scoring with 8:47 remaining in the opening quarter.

The Saints came back with a four-touchdown barrage that was capped by a 75-yard interception return by Kyle Fuller.

Thomas More dominated the ground game, led by Domonique Hayden, who gained 212 yards on 24 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns. Hayden also scored on his only pass reception, a 36-yarder from Jensen Gebhardt.

Hill completed 34 of 52 passes for 334 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He passed to 11 different targets, with Bernie Thompson leading the receivers with six catches for 97 yards.

Brandon Fedorka led the Waynesburg defense with seven tackles.
