Ringgold defeats Albert Gallatin
Chris Maciejewski hit a game-tying home run in the top of the seventh, and winning pitcher Dan Byczynski hit a three-run shot in the 10th, his second of the game, as Ringgold rallied to defeat host Albert Gallatin in a non-section baseball clash Tuesday.
Byczynski struck out seven and also doubled.
The Colonials (2-2) committed five errors in allowing four unearned runs.
Ryan Stewart led Albert Gallatin with two doubles and a single. Chaz Phillips also had three hits, Robbie Shea added two hits and R.T. Barber smacked a double for the Colonials.
Paul Dunham took the loss in relief.
The Colonials open Section 2-AAAA play today when they host Latrobe.
