Beth-Center scored two runs in the bottom of the first and a single tally in the third on its way to a 9-2 Section 2-AA softball victory Monday afternoon against visiting Washington.

The Lady Bulldogs (3-0, 3-2) added another run in the bottom of the fifth and put the game away with five runs in the sixth. Washington (0-3, 0-4) scored its runs in the top of the seventh.

Abby Gustovich went the distance for the victory, allowing six hits with eight strikeouts and three walks.

Jasmin Wadsworth just missed hitting for the cycle with two singles, a double and triple. She also drove in four runs. Brooke Rusilko had three singles and two RBI, Ally Trippy, Gustovich and Alayna Mickoloff all had doubles, and Caitlyn Kanails went 2-for-3.
