Lady Commodores suffer another loss

Jefferson-Morgan 7, Frazier 6 — Jefferson-Morgan scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Tuesday afternoon to hand the Lady Commodores their second Section 2-A loss in as many days.

Jefferson-Morgan (10-2) now has sole possession of second place with an 8-2 record.

Frazier (7-3, 7-4) led 5-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth with Jefferson-Morgan’s lone run coming on Reagan Rush’s solo home run.

The Lady Commodores scored a single run in the top of the seventh, but winning pitcher Maddie Ludrosky made the lead stand for the key victory.

Ludrosky struck out six and walked three.

Reagan Rush and Maddie Dupont doubled for the Lady Rockets. Camryn Dugan also ripped a home run.
