Penn State Mont Alto 6, Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus 0; Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus 3, Penn State Mont Alto 2 – The Lady Roaring Lions earned a PSUAC split by winning the nightcap Monday afternoon at home.

Penn State Fayette (2-3, 13-7) scored single runs in the bottom of the first, second and fourth innings for the win in the second game.

Morgan Miller had a strong game in the victory, going 2-for-4, including a double, with two runs scored and an RBI. Moriah Kromer and Jessica Stairs both had two singles.

Kromer (6-1) went the distance for the win, allowing eight hits with three walks and three strikeouts. She worked out of a one-out, bases-loaded jam in the top of the seventh to preserve the win.

The Lady Roaring Lions were held to just three hits in the first game loss. Two of the three hits were doubles by Andrea Lash and Stephanie Longo.

Stairs (4-4) took the loss, allowing eight hits with four walks and four strikeouts.
