West Greene falls to Frazier 6-5

Frazier 6, West Greene 5 — West Greene took an early 5-0 lead in the first two innings before falling to Frazier 6-5 in the last two innings of Thursday’s Section 2-A game at Frazier.

Monica Joseph earned the win for the Lady Commodores, while Bailey Bennington struck out nine in West Greene’s loss.

Bennington also went 2-for-4 with a home run for the Lady Pioneers.

Paige Hotz hit a double for Frazier.

West Greene (6-8, 5-5) host Carmichaels today in Section 2-A play, while Frazier (8-4, 8-3) returns to section action on Tuesday at Carmichaels.
