Bishop Canevin 13, Geibel Catholic 0 — The visiting Crusaders scored eight runs in the top of the fourth inning Monday afternoon on their way to Section 2-A victory over the Gators in five innings.

Bishop Canevin improves to 5-2 in the section and 7-3 overall, while the Gators slip to 0-6 in the section and 0-9 overall.

Zach Cortese had the big hit in the 8-run third inning with a triple.

Matt Zenk had three triples for the Crusaders.

Christian Tutsock earned the win, while Matt Mammarella took the loss. Tucker Bocan had the lone hit for Geibel Catholic, a single in the first inning.

The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was suspended in the bottom of the third inning.
