Mustang golfs top Ringgold, 224-248

Harison Laskey fired an ever-par 35 to earn medalist honors as Laurel Highlands defeated visiting Ringgold, 224-248, in a Section 2-AAA golf match at Duck Hollow Golf Club on Thursday.

Coach Craig Hoone’s Mustangs improve to 4-1 overall and in the section.

Neil Hancock shot a 39 to lead the Rams (2-4, 1-4).

Following Laskey for LH were Cole Phillis (43), Jarrod Sutton (48), John Ek (48) and Nick Agostini.

Ringgold’s scoring was rounded out by Rob Nemec (44), David Zitney (46), Brandon Jacobs (54) and Calum Hyslop (65).

Laurel Highlands will be in action again 3 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts Uniontown at Duck Hollow.

Ringgold’s next match is also against the Red Raiders at Duck Hollow 3 p.m. next Thursday.
