Harrison Dreher carried the ball 8 times for 164 yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead Clairton to a 70-0 non-conference victory over California on Friday.
The Bears took an early lead, scoring four touchdowns in the first quarter.
Lamont Wade opened the game at 11:48 in the first quarter, scoring on a 70 yard run, Aaron Matthews scored at 7:46 on a 29 yard run, and Dreher followed at 1:31 with a 13 yard run. Matthews closed the quarter, scoring at the :10 mark on a 61 yard pass from Brian Williams.
Matthews scored again at 10:06 in the second on a 72 yard punt return. Dreher scored again in the second at 6:30 on an 18 yard run.
Wade opened the third quarter on a 69 yard punt return at 7:57, while Hines scored at 3:21 on a 53 yard pass from Williams.
Dreher scored the only touchdown of the fourth quarter, a 70 yard run at the 7:11 mark.
California opens the season 0-1.
