Bodgen grabs 13, but Lady Maples lose

Mapletown got 13 rebounds from Madison Bogden and three players scored seven points each, but it wasn’t enough, as Bentworth beat the Lady Maples, 44-30, in the consolation game of the Avella Tip-Off Tournament Saturday.

Abby Shipley, Lauren Sanetrik and Hannah Dingle combined for 21 of Mapletown’s 30 points, while Grace Marthezak led the Lady Bearcats with 12 and Tori Cicci added 10.

Bentworth is 1-1, while Mapletown (0-2) hosts Carmichaels Tuesday.
