Scotties remain perfect with 64-51 win at Kittanning

Tommy Pisula scored 19 points and undefeated Southmoreland blew open a close game in the third period to defeat host Kittanning, 64-51, in a Section 3-AAA boys basketball game on Tuesday night.

Kittanning (1-4, 0-2) led 13-12 after one period and 29-28 at halftime before the Scotties took control with a 25-12 edge in the third frame.

Ben Niemiec added 11 points for Southmoreland (5-0, 2-0) and Justin Livengood chipped in with 10.

Joey McCanna topped Kittanning with 19 points.
