Frazier’s frantic rally falls just short vs. Lady Bucs

By The 1 min read

Frazier battled back from a 17-4 first-period deficit but fell just short in a 63-61 non-section loss to visiting Chartiers-Houston.

The Lady Commodores (2-3) missed two free throws and a jump shot in the closing seconds in a desperate attempt to tie the game.

The Lady Bucs led 37-23 at halftime and 54-43 after three frames but Frazier out-scored them 18-9 in the final eight minutes.

Alexa Williamson scored 27 points and Jules Voccano had 17 for C-H. Frazier was paced by Hannah Kline with 13 points and Alena Blaszczak with 10.

“We fell behind early but we stuck with what we do,” Frazier coach Ken Poling. “We used our pressure defense, stuck together and got back into the game. I was proud the way they played. This will make us better in the long run. It was emotional game.”
