Scots remain unbeaten with 55-46 win over Trojans

Southmoreland rallied in the second half Friday night to defeat California, 55-46, in the opening round of the Charleroi Federal Christmas Tournament.

The Trojans (6-2) led 15-9 after the first quarter and 26-24 at halftime. The Scotties (9-0) pulled ahead with an 18-9 advantage in the third quarter and cemented the victory with a 13-11 fourth quarter.

Tom Pisula led Southmoreland with 25 points.

Kass Taylor scored a game-high 28 points for the Trojans. Tray Matthews added 15.
