California is guaranteed to at least share the Section 3-A title for the first time since 1982 after Tuesday night’s 58-16 win over visiting Mapletown.

Kylie Huffman scored a game-high 20 points for California, while teammate Tristen Conaway scored 16 points.

Brook Duranko led scoring for Mapletown with four points.

California (16-3, 9-0) travels to Avella on Friday, where a win will make the team Section 3-A champs, and a loss will make them co-champions.

Mapletown (1-19, 0-9) hosts Waynesburg Central today in non-section play.
