Belle Vernon falls to Lady Centurions, 52-50, in overtime

Belle Vernon lost to Greensburg Central Catholic, 52-50, on Saturday in overtime in the Westmoreland County Hoopfest Tournament at Greensburg Salem High School.

Carloyn Appleby scored a team-high 25 points for GCC, while teammates Nicole Adisey and Lean Bisignani each added 11.

Kaitlyn Slagus led scoring for the Lady Leopards with a game-high 27 points. Meaghan Murphy scored 13.

Belle Vernon finishes regular season with an overall record of 16-6.
