PS Fayette defeats PS Wilkes Barre, 87-77

The Roaring Lions led 45-37 at halftime Wednesday night, and visiting Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus held on for an 87-77 PSUAC first round playoff game victory at Penn State Wilkes Barre.

Penn State Fayette (13-13) outscored its hosts in the second half, 42-40.

Luke Williams poured in a game-high 33 points to lead the Roaring Lions. Matt McKenna scored 16, C.J. Gaddis finished with 14, and Dierre Jenkins added 12.

Keith Johnson led Penn State Wilkes Barre with 26 points. Bre’yan Jones (12), Kenneth Randall (12), and Kendric Wiggins (10) were also in double figures.

The Roaring Lions play at Penn State York in the semi-finals on Saturday at 1 p.m.
