Uniontown to play Charleroi

Uniontown’s next boys basketball game will be played at 8 p.m. Friday at Charleroi High School.

The Red Raiders (20-1) take on Elizabeth-Forward (20-3) in the WPIAL Class AAA boys quarterfinals. The winner gets the winner of Friday’s Chartiers Valley-Mars game Tuesday at a site and time to be determined.

Uniontown advanced with a 66-57 win over Ambridge, while EF beat South Fayette, 47-40.

Six of the eight remaining Class AAA boys teams advance to the PIAA playoffs.
