Brandon Kushnar is the son of David and Lenora Kushnar. of Smock. Kushnar played football for four years and baseball for two, and was a four-year letterman in football and one-year in baseball. Kushnar was captain of the football team his junior and senior seasons and was all-county and all-conference in football. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Kushnar is an Altar Server and Eucharistic Minister. His extra-curricular activities include Science Club and Stage Crew for Musical. Kushnar’s sponsoring coach, Pete Nace, said, “Brandon was a leader of a very young football and baseball team, both on and off the field. He never missed a practice in 4 years and was a great role model to the younger athletes.”
