Lady Bulldogs earn soccer OT win at AG

By The 1 min read

Brooke Rusilko scored early in the first overtime to lift visiting Beth-Center over Albert Gallatin, 2-1, in a non-section girls soccer match.

The Lady Colonials took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Katelyn Flowers scored on a penalty kick, but Chelsea Snyder tied it for the Lady Bulldogs to make it 1-1 at halftime.

After a scoreless second half, Rusilko found the net to give B-C the sudden-death victory.

Beth-Center put 14 shots on goal. Alli Kuklar was in goal for the first half for the Lady Colonials and stopped five shots. Karli Thomas took over from there and made nine saves until Rusilko beat her.

Albert Gallatin (0-3) hosts Hempfield today at 7:30 p.m.
