Lady Indians shut down LH girls, 3-0

Peters Twp. started strong and finished stronger Thursday night for a 3-0 Section 2-AAA victory over visiting Laurel Highlands.

The Lady Indians won by the scores, 25-16, 25-15, 25-9.

Stats leaders for the Fillies were Hannah Basinger (3 kills), Mackenzie Wheeler (5 digs, 2 kills), Morgan Wensing (3 kills), Maddi Rice (8 digs), and Katelyn Kearns (5 assists, 2 digs).

Laurel Highlands (1-3, 1-3) plays a non-section match Tuesday against Kiski Area.
