Titans’ Mitchell too much for AG defense in 45-7 loss
DiAngelo Mitchell ran for five touchdowns Friday night to lead West Mifflin to a 45-7 Big Nine Conference road victory at Albert Gallatin.
Mitchell opened the scoring on a 42-yard run at 8:25 of the first quarter. He then added a one-yard touchdown run at 4:54 of the opening quarter.
Mitchell scored two more touchdowns in the second quarter and added his fifth score on a 75-yard run in the third quarter.
Kevin Garbark and Brady Bellante also had running touchdowns for the Titans (3-0, 3-0).
Albert Gallatin avoided the shutout when Cruz White dove in from one yard with 6:54 remaining in the game. White gained 111 yards on 17 carries.
The Colonials (0-3, 0-3) play Trinity next.
