Bulldogs rout Carmichaels, 59-7

Beth-Center scored 26 points in the first quarter and never looked back, defeating visiting Carmichaels, 59-7, Friday night for a Tri-County South Conference victory.

Anthony Welsh kept his torrid scoring pace alive in the home win with scoring runs of 39, 15, 6, and 92 yards. He also gained 205 yards rushing.

Nico Brown opened the scoring on a 73-yard run and finished with 105 yards on the ground. John Sofran then scored on a 2-yard run.

Jason Stay added a 37-yard touchdown pass from Trent Cunko and a 19-yard scoring run. Anderson capped the scoring on a 1-yard run.

Nick Mundell scored the Mikes’ lone touchdown on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.
