Kiski Area tops Connellsville in baseball

1 min read

Kiski Area put away a close game with four runs in the top of the seventh inning of the Cavaliers’ 8-2 baseball win at Connellsville.

The long-time section rivals played an exhibition game this year, as Kiski and Connellsville were placed in different sections, even though both stayed in Class AAAA.

Losing pitcher Corey Fogle sparked the Falcons’ offense with a double and single, good for one RBI. Brock Bonadio had the other RBI with a pair of singles. Luke Kisiel also doubled for the Falcons (5-2).

The Cavaliers improved to 5-0, thanks to the pitching of Josh Bell and the hitting of Noah Hanson, who drove in four runs with a pair of doubles. Kory Shoupe and Brian Amoroski also doubled for the winners.
