LH track teams dominate Yough
Chad Livingston won three individual events as Laurel Highlands boys defeated Yough, 123-26, in a Section 2-AAA track and field meet on Thursday.
The LH girls also won, 103-42. Both teams improved to 2-0 overall and in section play.
In the boys meet, Livingston won the high jump (6-2), triple jump (41-9) and the long jump (21-3).
Other multiple winners for the Mustangs were Colby Tarr in the 110 high hurdles (:15.9) and 300 hurdles (:41.4) and Gregg Maruca in the 1,600 (5:08) and the 3,200 (11:11.0).
Also picking up wins were Dontay Jacobs in the 400 (:53.1), Jonathan Ek in the pole vault (9-6), Ryan Gesso in the javelin (162-4), Smith in the 800 (2:20.0) and Mitchell in the discus (121-2).
In the girls meet, multiple winners for the Fillies were Shelby Burns in the 100 high hurdles (:13.0) and high jump (5-0) and Ashley Galderisi in the 100 (:13.0) and 200 (:27.0).
Other individual winners for LH were Emily Rohm in the 1,600 (6:25), Lyricc King in the 800 (2:53), Sutton in the 400, Krause in the 300 hurdles (:56.0), Hostetler in the shot put (31-3.5) and Phelan in the pole vault (10-0).
