Soo completes sweep, eliminates Ice Miners

The season is over for the Keystone Ice Miners.
Leo Lumm broke a 1-1 tie with a second-period goal and Soo went on to defeat the visiting Ice Miners, 3-1, on Friday night to complete a three-game sweep of their NAHL first-round playoff series.
Keystone lost the first two games at the Ice Mine on April 10-11.
Keegan Miller gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead in the first period with assists from Matt Menta and Chase Matson at 16:18.
The Ice Miners pulled even at 10:45 in the second when Cameron Smith scored on assists from Ji Young Li and Michael Maiden.
Lumm broke the tie less than four minutes later with the assists again going to Menta and Matson.
Soo went up 3-1 early in the third period when Trevor Cope put in a power-play goal, assisted by Sandis Zolmanis and Michael Caruso.
The Ice Miners had a golden opportunity to slice the lead to one at the 6:21 mark when Joey Sofo was awarded a penalty shot, but he was denied by Eagles netminder Chad Catt.
Keystone out-shot Soo, 38-27, but Catt turned aside 37 of those to help the Eagles advance to the championship series against Janesville, which completed a three-game sweep of Michigan with a 7-4 victory, also on Friday.
Nick Kossoff made 24 saves for the Ice Miners.
