LH girls ride late rally to win at West Mifflin

Laurel Highlands out-scored host West Mifflin 27-18 in the fourth period to overcome a five-point deficit and earn a 55-51 non-section girls basketball victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs’ Ashley Galderisi led all scorers with 25 points and Siteri Tale added 11.

The Lady Titans (1-2) were led by Miranda Ferguson’s 20 points and Marissa Panfil’s 11.

LH led 24-22 after a tight first half but West Mifflin surged to a 33-28 advantage in the third period before the Mustangs (2-1) staged their comeback.
