Lady Knights overpower Connellsville, 60-14

The visiting Lady Knights scored all the points they would need in the opening eight minutes Thursday night as Norwin cruised to a 60-14 victory in the Section 1-AAAA opener at Connellsville.

Norwin (1-0, 4-0) led 22-2 after the first quarter and 37-4 at halftime. The Lady Knights’ lead improved to 53-8 after three quarters.

Norwin’s Alayna Gribble scored a game-high 22 points. Dominique Petach added 10.

The Lady Falcons slip to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the section.
