Penn State Fayette women hammer DuBois, 76-58

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus soared to a 24-11 lead in the first period and never looked back in cruising to a 76-58 win at Penn State DuBois on Friday.

The Lady Roaring Lions (4-5, 3-1) led 40-21 at halftime and 61-37 after three.

Albert Gallatin graduate Courtney Haines led Fayette with a game-high 29 points to go along with six rebounds and four steals. Haines hit nine of 13 shots from the field and 10 of 12 free throws.

Taylor Smith added 15 points and 10 boards, and Laurel Highlands graduate Hayley Moreland chipped in with 10 points and three assists.

AG grad Ally Rudolph had six points on a pair of 3-pointers, a game-high five assists and the game’s only blocked shot.

Ashley Brown led DuBois (2-7, 0-3) with 20 points. Latascia Shadle and Melody Young followed with 11 and 10, respectively.
