Lady Leps fall to visiting South Park, 64-40

The Belle Vernon girls fell behind early and didn’t recover Monday night for a 64-40 Section 4-AAA loss to visiting South Park.

South Park led 13-8, 34-14 and 47-19 at the quarter breaks.

Caitlyn Trombley and Kelsey Green shared scoring honors for the Lady Leopards (0-2, 1-5) with nine points apiece.

South Park’s Allison McGrath scored a game-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers. Natalie Clydesdale finished with 14 and Brittany Andrews added 10.
