Red Raiders top Ringgold

1 min read

Uniontown poured it on early, then held on for a 63-48 Section 4-AAA boys basketball win at Ringgold Tuesday night.

The Red Raiders outscored the Rams, 22-8, in the first quarter and added only one point to their lead the rest of the way, but it was enough to make coach Rob Kezmarsky’s team 4-2 overall and 3-1 in section games. Ringgold fell to 5-2, 2-2.

Phil Mosely paced Uniontown with 17 points, followed closely by Armani Williams with 16 and Lorenzo Oden with 15. George Martin (15) and Dakota Browning (14) led Ringgold.

Uniontown gets an exhibition rematch against Albert Gallatin Monday in the Laurel Highlands Christmas Tournament. Ringgold plays Southmoreland in the Charleroi Tournament also on Monday.
