Lady Cougars pull away from Sewickley Academy, 51-38

Charleroi took a 15-9 lead in the opening frame and gradually pulled away from there for a 51-38 girls basketball victory over Sewickley Academy in the Lady Trojan Holiday Tournament on Tuesday.

Aisleyn Lee led a balanced scoring attack by the Lady Cougars (8-1) with 13 points. She was followed by Kaitlyn Riley with 12 and Maria Claybaugh with 10.

Sewickley Academy (3-6) was led by Maddy Casale with 18.
