P-T beats Colonials to knock Connellsville out of playoffs

Penn-Trafford cruised to a 65-30 win over visiting Albert Gallatin Tuesday night and in the process knocked Connellsville out of the Section 1-AAAA playoff hunt.

The Warriors improve to 4-7 in the section and 7-13 overall. Albert Gallatin slides to 1-10 in the section and 2-15 overall.

Penn-Trafford led 16-6, 35-14 and 56-22 at the quarter breaks.

Christian Creps led the Warriors with 15 points. Sean Stinelli added 11.

David Knox scored 11 points for the Colonials.
