Rockets have no problem with Maples, 75-38

The Jefferson-Morgan boys opened with 29 points in the first quarter Friday night and didn’t look back as the Rockets closed the regular season with a 75-38 Section 3-A win over visiting Mapletown.

The Rockets finish with a 7-5 section record and an overall mark of 12-9. The Maples close with a 1-11 section mark and an overall record of 2-20.

Jefferson-Morgan led 41-21 at halftime and then extended its lead to 63-26 after three quarters.

Jefferson-Morgan’s Rece Henneman led all scorers with 27 points. Austin Clark scored 19, including five 3-pointers. Nick Gustovich and Christian Randolph both finished with 10 points.

Jake Lawson led Mapletown with 16 points.
