Vincentian matches Geibel Catholic feat

Brenna Wise scored 35 points and had 17 rebounds to lead Vincentian Academy to a 74-35 win over Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic in the girls Class A championship game Saturday.

The Lady Royals won their fourth consecutive WPIAL Class A championship, matching coach George Bortz and his Geibel Catholic Lady Gators, who won four consecutive WPIAL championships in the 1990s.
