Mount Pleasant 9, Laurel Highlands 0 — Mount Pleasant pitcher Meadow Uncapher shut out Laurel Highlands, 9-0, during Thursday’s Section 4-AAA at Mount Pleasant.

Uncapher had nine strikeouts and two walks. Kayla Queer doubled and hit a home run for the Lady Vikings (2-0, 3-0). Teammate Chloe Poulich doubled.

Mackenzie LaClair had four strikeouts and five walks in suffering the loss for the Fillies (0-2, 0-2).
