Trojans shut out Jayhawks, 11-0

California needed just five innings Friday afternoon to secure an 11-0 non-section win at Jeannette.

The Trojans (4-0) scored four runs in the top of the first inning, then broke the game open with six in the second. They added a single run in the top of the third.

Louden Conte started and earned his third win without a loss.

Twos were wild for the Trojans’ Alex Adams, who went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBI and two stolen bases. Casey Zajicek had two hits with two runs scored and a stolen base.
