Hudson Novak had three hits, including a pair of home runs, and four RBIs as Laurel Highlands hammered visiting South Park, 10-2, in a Section 4-AAA baseball game on Wednesday.

The Mustangs (4-1, 2-0), who also got a double and single from Troy Kifer and two hits from Richie Pish, pounded out 14 hits.

Winning pitcher Zach Uhazie gave up two runs on two hits in six innings with 10 strikeouts and three walks.

LH scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back.

Josh Wagner and Tyler Miller each doubled and singled for the Eagles (5-3, 1-1). Kevin Vaulple took the loss.
