Brownsville, Beth-Center split section track meet
The Beth-Center boys defeated Brownsville, 77-61, and the Lady Falcons beat Beth-Center, 76-61, in Section 6-AA action Thursday afternoon at Charleroi.
The Brownsville girls improved to 5-2 in the section and 6-2 overall, and were once again led by Maris Seto in the jumps.
The senior won the high jump (5-5), triple jump (34-11), and long jump (16-6½). Her sister Alie won the discus (87-1½).
Justine Brown (shot put, 33-0), Justine Brown (100 high hurdles, 19.1), 3,200 relay, Rae’Ven Walker (800, 2:49), and Sara Vance (1,600, 5:53; 3,200, 13:08) finished first for Brownsville.
Kennedy Kuhns (javelin, 106-6), Hannah Lacey (100, 13.21; 400, 1:03.25), 400 relay, Kinlee Whited (300 intermediate hurdles, 52.62), and 1,600 relay finished first for the Lady Bulldogs.
John Pascoe (shot put, 34-3), Bryant Lewis (high jump, 5-6), Casey Eperjesi (long jump, 18-2), 400 relay, Hayden Rhodes (800, 2:25), and 1,600 relay finished first for the Falcons.
Dakota Godines (javelin, 116-8; 1,600, 5:24; 3,200, 12:12), Jordan Blackburn (discus, 113-½), Michael Elliott (triple jump, 37-6½; 110 high hurdles, 18.54; 300 intermediate hurdles), 3,200 relay, Ben Stirling (100, 11.4; 200, 23.85), and Dominic Clutter (400, 57.46) all had first-place performances for the Bulldogs.
