California softball dominates Fort Cherry, 16-2

California 16, Fort Cherry 2 – Fort Cherry led 2-1 in the second inning but California scored six runs in the bottom of the inning to top the Lady Rangers, 16-2, in non-section softball play on Tuesday at Fort Cherry.

The Lady Trojans (1-4, 2-6) scored seven more in the third to lead 14-2. Cal added runs in the fourth and fifth.

Kylie Trusler was the winning pitching after fanning five batters.

Fort Cherry falls to 0-7.
