Fayette tops New Kensington, 87-84
Five players reached double figures in scoring as Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus earned an 87-84 win at Penn State New Kensington Tuesday night.
Anthony Bristol led the way for Fayette with 22 points. He hit 3-of-5 from three-point range and made eight of 10 overall from the floor.
Dominick Jackson added 18 points, Spencer Perieff scored 13 and London Hoxie and super sub Jordan Pratt scored 12 each. Hozie led in rebounding with eight caroms.
Fayette made 46.3 percent of its shots from the floor and held the host team to 39.4 percent shooting from the floor.
The local team won for the third time in 10 games and improved to 2-1 in PSUAC games, while New Kensington fell to 4-4, 2-2.
Jordan Williams led all scorers with 35 points for New Kensington, while Javon Turner and Kenneth Rouse added 13 points each and Shane Baronner pulled a game-high nine rebounds.
The Roaring Lions built their largest lead of 11 points with 4:32 remaining, when Bristol’s jump shot made it 82-71.
New Kensington travels to Chatham for a 7:30 p.m. game today, while Fayette plays its last game until January when it visits Penn State Beaver at 8 p.m. Friday.

Robert Morris 64, Duquesne 60
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Isaiah Still converted a layup with 15 seconds left and Clive Allen hit four straight free throws as Robert Morris held off Duquesne, 64-60 in the Colonials at PPG Paints Arena Tuesday night.
Mike Lewis II hit a 3-pointer with 3:32 left to tie the game at 55-55 and hit a layup with :30 left to give the Dukes a 59-58 lead.
The game renewed a rivalry that was last indulged on December 11, 1986, a 74-70 win for the Dukes.
Still finished with 22 points to lead Robert Morris (3-7), which was 25 of 60 from the field. The Colonials now are 2-4 all-time against Duquesne.
Lewis led four Dukes into double-figure scoring with 15 points. Duquesne (4-6) was 23 of 60 shooting.
