Mount Pleasant 62, Laurel Highlands 33 – The Mount Pleasant girls led throughout the game Friday night, opening season with a 62-33 win over host Laurel Highlands in the FCCA Tip-Off Tournament.

The Lady Vikings (1-0) led 14-8, 28-19 and 44-23 at the quarter breaks.

Mount Pleasant’s Kerri Bungard led all scorers with 21 points.
