Greyhounds rebound with 84-70 win over Crusaders
Monessen trailed at halftime, but the Greyhounds put up 50 points in the second half Saturday night for an 84-70 victory in the consolation game of the Upper St. Clair Tip-Off Tournament over Bishop Canevin.
The Crusaders led 35-34 at halftime, but the Greyhounds surged into the lead with a 23-8 advantage in the third quarter.
Lyndon Henderson led Monessen with 27 points. Justice Rice added 20. Jaron Youngblood finished with 13 and Cory Fleming had 10.
Bishop Canevin’s Mitchell King scored a game-high 31 points.
