Lady Vikings coast to 49-11 victory

The Mount Pleasant defense held the Uniontown girls to just two points in the first half, no points in the first quarter, as the Lady Vikings coasted to a 49-11 win Saturday afternoon in the FCCA Tip-Off Tournament.

The Lady Raiders (0-2) trailed 28-2 at halftime, but managed to cut a couple points off their deficit with a 6-4 third quarter. Mount Pleasant (2-0) finished with a 17-3 advantage in the fourth quarter.

Kerri Bungard led the Lady Vikings with 15 points. Gabbi Keefer added 11.

Kelsea Rose score four points for Uniontown.
